Who we are
Sustainable Events Ltd is recognised as a leader in the implementation of sustainability in the event industry.
Our Managing Director, Fiona Pelham, was Chair of the ISO 20121 standard for event sustainability, and we were consultants for the development of the Global Reporting Initiative Event Organizers Sector Supplement (GRI EOSS).
Our actions revolve around our passion for sustainability and our business values of honesty, collaboration, positivity, proactivity, leadership, integrity and transparency.
We like to practice what we preach, and we work in compliance with ISO 20121 as well as producing an annual sustainability report which has more information about us.
What we do
We can support you to implement ISO 20121, the international standard for event sustainability. If you're not sure what you're missing then we can offer gap analyses for event organisers, venues and industry suppliers to understand where they are in relation to these international event industry standards.
We can provide sustainability reporting and on site monitoring and measuring, and we can help you to understand how to use the Global Reporting Initiative Event Organizers Sector Supplement (GRI EOSS) reporting framework.
We support businesses to show leadership and meet their company visions, and we use the leading online system www.eventsustainability.com to support organisations in documenting and sharing their sustainability journey.

Become a Deliverer
Would you like to work with a forward thinking small business which likes to do things differently? Sustainable Events Ltd is looking for people who share our values to work with us towards our vision of a sustainable events industry.
In keeping with our values of collaboration and leadership, we want to work with other people to create change in the events industry and to support other like-minded individuals who want to grow their businesses, expand their skills, gain new work and learn about sustainability in the events industry.
If you have experience of working in sustainability, or working in the events industry, you could become a Deliverer.
Deliverers work on a freelance basis, delivering workshops and sustainability support to existing and new clients. Payment rates are transparent and there are lots of opportunities to increase workloads and earn more money for those who are motivated and committed.
All materials, support and training are provided, for a one-off fee (which is less than the income from one day’s client work).

To become a Deliverer for Sustainable Events Ltd, you will be required to complete an application and attend a 2 day training course, which includes a short assessment. The cost of the training is £375 (excluding any travel or accommodation costs) and sessions take place approximately twice per year. If the costs are prohibitive, you can apply for a funding loan – contact us for more details.
Sustainable Events Ltd already has clients internationally and is keen to continue to grow business around the world even further. To ensure we extend our reach, we have developed an online deliverer training course for those living all around the world.
