Fiona Pelham

Fiona is chair of the committee developing ISO 20121, a management system for event sustainability inspired by London 2012, and which launched in July 2012.

She is managing director of Sustainable Events Ltd, which provides support for the implementation of sustainability within the event industry along with sister companies Organise This and Positive Impact. Organise This, a sustainable event management company, was launched in 2004 followed by Positive Impact, a not for profit organisation providing education on sustainability to the event industry, and EventSustainability, an online reporting system.

With Sustainable Events Ltd she was the lead consultant for the creation of the Global Reporting Initiative Event Organizers Sector Supplement, and the Technical Advisor on sustainability for the England 2018 World Cup bid. Fiona is current past president for Meeting Professionals International UK and Ireland Chapter and is also currently on the International CSR Advisory Board for MPI.

Fiona presents internationally and has a unique perspective based on experience with event logistics and strategic implementation of sustainability.
